About the Role
Milestone is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and manage the core data infrastructure that powers our analytics and AI insights. You’ll go beyond traditional pipeline work — designing systems that unify data from diverse environments and enable scalable, high-quality analysis.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and scalable architectures
- Work across cloud and internal systems to develop seamless data integrations
- Build and optimize data models supporting analytics, reporting, and ML workloads
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance at scale
- Collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver data-driven features
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems (Databricks, Spark, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP
- Ability to architect, optimize, and troubleshoot multi-environment data flows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
