Bitbucket Self Hosted · Integration Guide
Connect a Bitbucket Server or Data Center instance hosted on your own infrastructure. Please provide the following details:
-
HTTP Access Token — created for a service account under Profile → Manage account → HTTP access tokens, with Project read and Repository read. The token authenticates on its own; leave Username empty.
-
Base URL — the server address only (for example
https://bitbucket.your-company.com), without/rest/api. -
Username — only if your server requires Basic authentication with the token (or the account password) as the password. Bitbucket 10 disables Basic authentication for API calls by default, so most current servers need this left empty.
Notes
- The Base URL must use
https— the collector never sends credentials over plainhttp, so repositories on anhttp-only instance cannot be cloned. - The instance must be reachable from Milestone. If it only accepts traffic from allow-listed addresses, tick "Skip token validation" — validation runs from a different address than the collector — and ask your Milestone contact for the collector addresses to allow.
